Why Co-Curricular Activities Matter as Much as Marks

Marks matter — but so does the ability to lead a team, speak on stage, recover from a loss on the field, and stay curious outside the textbook.

Shivalik Academy offers a wide range of co-curricular options, including indoor and outdoor sports under professional trainers, hobby clubs, a multi-activity hall, and a half-Olympic size swimming pool.

It is mandatory for students to take part in at least one co-curricular activity unless excused on medical grounds. That habit of balanced growth is part of our school culture.

Parents who want their child to grow in confidence as well as curriculum should look closely at how often activities happen — not only whether facilities exist on a brochure.
