Co-curricular Activities

Sports, hobby clubs, and mandatory activity time beyond the timetable.

Overview

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities with an idea of providing all round exposure and an opportunity for all to test their potentials in different fields.

We understand the importance & learning outcomes of co-curricular activities, therefore, students are offered to choose from over 20 options of sports (indoor & outdoor), provided under professional trainers.

There is a vast, well maintained Open Stadium for all the sports needs along with a multi activity hall and a Half-Olympic size Swimming Pool.

Apart from the sports infrastructure, the school offers different Hobby Clubs in order to create more options for students, which in turn caters to their needs apart from physical and academic curriculum.

Note: It is mandatory for all students to be a part of at least one co-curricular activity, unless excused on medical grounds.

Guidance

01

Why co-curricular matters here

Classroom learning alone does not build confidence, teamwork, or stage presence. At Shivalik, co-curricular time is structured so every child finds a place to try — and stick with — something beyond marks.

  • Choice across indoor and outdoor sports
  • Hobby clubs for creative and cultural interests
  • Professional trainers for core games
  • House events that turn practice into belonging

02

Spaces that host the week

A well-maintained open stadium, multi-activity hall, and half-Olympic swimming pool give coaches and students reliable venues for regular practice — not only annual day performances.

  • Open stadium for track and field sports
  • Multi-activity hall for indoor programmes
  • Half-Olympic size swimming pool
  • Seasonal calendars shared with parents

03

Hobby clubs & expression

Alongside sports, hobby clubs open doors to music, art, debate, and other pursuits that help quieter learners find their voice and leaders learn to collaborate.

  • Creative and cultural club options
  • Opportunities to perform and present
  • Peer teams across age groups
  • Support from teachers and club mentors
